I’ve read about this bullet coffee around the web on quite a few sites, especially paleo and keto food blogs.  I decided to try to make some this morning.  It was delicious!  If you’ve never head of this you might be disgusted and a bit coffeeconcerned about the fat content; however if you are following a paleo or low-carb or keto eating plan it is a good fit.

Ingredients (1 serving)

8 oz hot brewed coffee

1 tablespoon grass fed butter (Kerrygold brand is good)

1 tablespoon coconut oil

Optional Sweetener of your choice (I use vegetable glycerin)

Put all the ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until frothy.  Pour and drink!  I have a Vitamix and used that since it can handle hot liquids.  Be sure whatever you use can handle hot liquids.

It was very tasty and got the husband’s stamp of approval as well.  I may try adding protein powder to make it breakfast in a mug.  I’ve seen some with raw eggs included but I can’t go there. Just can’t do it.
